We Are Conjola:
A documentary by award-winning filmmaker Anthony 'Ash' Brennan exploring the devastating New Year's Eve bushfires and how local artists inspired community recovery.
With Anthonys connection to the area, the community got behind this project by telling their stories which had yet been heard ,with unseen footage from the devastating event.

A collaborative community mural painting and conversation studio space created by Nina Kourea, Karen Yello, and Lara Seresin on an interior wall at Hopestreet.
A trio of local community artists with decades of experience who thrive on helping others to express themselves in the places they inhabit; promoting inclusion, ownership, encouragement & interaction.
An interior wall at Hopestreet was an open studio for community to paint, listen, converse & be involved in the community mural.

A-Z of Wollongong Podcast:
A local interview project hosted by Rebekah Lambert showcasing creative innovation, local businesses, and community ideas during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The a to z of Wollongong podcast offered a collection of interviews from the creative, business and innovation streets within the Illawarra.
“We helped people explore the gong in a way that maybe covid-19 put a halt to. Through the eyes of real locals, with really wonderful ideas”.
Tasmin Wikamp (Taz Handmade):
A landscape oil painting and canvas project inspired by field sketches of regional South Coast flora recovering from the Black Summer bushfires.
Taz handmade pursued a body of work celebrating Australian landscapes around the south coast of NSW.
The project was inspired by Australian flora and its resilience to a harsh climate, particularly since the black summer fires.
With funding provided by culture bank the project was able to afford oil paints and canvas to create a series of artworks inspired by field studies, sketches, and photographs of their local bushland.
Pecha Kucha Moruya:
A collaborative March 2021 evening event hosted at the Monarch Hotel by the artist-led MAP (More Art Please) Collective, showcasing local creatives responding to the theme of "Home".
In March 2021, at the Monarch Hotel in Moruya, map collective hosted ‘Pecha Kutcha’ bringing together four local creatives and their response to the theme home.
Map (more art please) is an artist - led collective established to cultivate creative and cultural events and activities within Eurobodalla. Working in different locations throughout the region as opportunities, partnerships and collaborations evolve.
MAP believe, art can bring our community together to listen, share stories, connect, support and inspire one another.
Magic Mountains – Susannah Begg
This project was filmed at waterfall sanatorium and included a crew of locals as dancers, choreographers, singers, performers, interviewees, and musicians.
“I feel that honouring those who died on previous waves of contagion is crucial for healing and moving through our current anxieties with covid-19”.
An engaging touch screen digital work that uncovers a little bit of local history and invites viewers to think about the spooky graves in the bush near Helensburgh in a new way.

The Purple Turtle
‘The purple turtle’ is an environmental short film that follows the journey of a plastic toy turtle which is dropped in the Pacific Ocean in the 1980s.
Through the turtle's eyes we see the ocean change as our dependence on plastic, both destructive and indestructible, increases over a forty-year period.
